I don't know why i haven't posted in so long, but here is a blog. I haven't really played a bunch of disc golf lately because the nearest course has a lot of thorns an super tall grass that makes it super hard to find your disc after you throw into it. I made the all star team. Are first practice was Saturday. I also got a new phone because my other one stopped working for whatever reason. I will try to posted again soon.

Double header

On Friday my baseball team played a double header, one game at 5:30 and one at 7:30. I had only ever played one double header before Friday. The first game my team won 4-3, I played catcher the hole game, my friend Garrett pitched, and he did a very good job, then my friend mason came in for the last inning and did great to. I don't remember every at bat from both games, but I no I only got out once. I think I had about 8 at bats total. The second game we won somewhere around 9-5.....(I don't remember exactly the score) I caught the first 2 innings and then came in too pitch the last 4 innings, I pitched pretty well. I have a game tonight at 7:00. Looking forward to tomorrow .

Baseball

My baseball team has been doing pretty well this season, we have tied once and lost 2 times. And one 5 games. We have somewhere around 6/7 games left to play . I have been many playing catcher this season, but also some shortstop and pitcher. 1 game I pitched we only played 4 innings because of the 10 run rule, but I pitched the hole game decently. Another game I pitched for 3 innings and gave up 2/3 runs, then another pitcher came in to pitch. The last game was the best. I pitched a full 6 innings and only through 69 pitches and got allot of strikeouts. Thay scored 2 runs.

Fishing

In Friday I went fishing at a relay cool pond in Toccoa. I went with Mr Caleb and Nathaniel. I caught 3 large mouth bass all on a Rebal Crick Hopper. Mr Caleb caught 3 large mouth bass. 1 on a Hedon Spook, and 1 on some soft plastic worm. I think the other fish he caught was on a spook, but I'm not sure. Nathaniel didn't catch any fish. Then we played disc golf in Toccoa. I finished +5 Nathaniel finished +1 and Mr Caleab finished +2. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Rain

Baseball season has started, and we have played somewhere around  games, but we are having so many practice/games get rained out. I just hope we get in a good amount of games before the season is over. Looking forward to my next game.

Baseball

Last night I had a baseball game, we won 7-2. I played catcher the whole game, I did pretty well catching. I stuck out once and walked once, and hit a ball almost to the fence but someone caught it. Looking forward to tomorrow

Disc Golf pond

I play disc golf, which if you don't already know, has basically the same rules as regular golf, except you use I smaller more aerodynamic frisbees, and you throw into baskets with chains on them. On some holes they have a water hazard or a lot of trees that really block throws from going very far, and some holes are really really far and hard.Some are even up to 1000 feet. So on the holes with water people tend to mess up and throw in the water, and they usually never even get them. Discs are usually anywhere from 10 to 30 dollars, so I go into the muddy pond and get tons of discs!! Yesterday I found 8 discs. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Wednesday

Yesterday I went to visit my grandpa for about 4 hours. We played pool and played disc golf and fixed a lawn mower. We also got to eat really good burgers. Today I am just getting my lessons done quickly so I can go play outside. It's been sooooooooooo nice outside lately. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Fun

I don't know why I haven't been posting blogs lately, but I will try to do a lot better. Baseball season has started! So of course I'm really happy about that. So far the Atlanta Braves have won 1 game and lost 1game, so that is great that the Braves season has started. My baseball team has won 1 game and tied 1 game and lost 1 game. I have also been playing a lot of disc golf! And going into the muddy pond to get free discs.

Florida part 6

On the last day of the trip we fished at the swaney river in a Cano we rented for the day. I caught 1 mud fish with a Bandit 100. I hadn't caught a mud fish before that. I also caught 9 pan fish. I don't remember what kinds. Dad caught 2 mud fish, and 9 pan fish. Dad also caught 1mullet. Today was my favorite day of the trip! It was a very fun day of fishing!! Sorry it took so long to put up the last day, but we are home know. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Florida part 3

Today my dad and I went fishing at Derby Lake, where Dad caught 1 little bluegill on a fly that he tied under a Rebel Micro Pop-R. I caught 1 largemouth bass on a Bandit 100. I hadn't ever fished with a Bandit 100. I just saw it in the tackle box and thought it looked like it would probably catch a fish. When I used the Bandit 100, I really liked how easy it was to just cast it out and crank it in, and it just had a really cool movement that attracted fish to it. We also saw a lot of alligators in the water and on the banks. Tomorrow my dad and I are going out on a boat saltwater fishing with a local fisherman, so that should be a lot of fun. Florida part 2

Today my dad and went fishing at a canal at Lake Ida. Dad caught 1 peacock bass on a Rebal Tracdown Ghost Minnow. I caught 2 largemouth bass - 1 on a Yum Dinger and 1 on a Lindy Watsit Grub. So we didn't really catch any big fish and we didn't catch many, but it was a very productive day. Tomorrow we will fish some ponds that should have some fish. Hope we catch some fish tomorrow!

Florida part 1

Today my Dad and I left for Florida at 3:00 am. When I got in the car I stayed up for a while, but then I went to bed. It was a long drive but once we got there it was so worth it. We drove to lake Okeechobee to watch a tournament weigh in. It was fun watching all the professional fishermen weigh their fish and talk. After the weigh in Dad drove us to a hotel in West Palm Beach, and we ate at Ihop and now we are in the hotel getting ready for bed. That's it for today.  Tomorrow we will do a lot of fishing in canals, but today was just a travel day. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Florida part 5

Today my dad and I drove to Clearwater Beach. On our way there we stopped at some public fishing accesses. We didn't catch any fish, but it was a lot of fun. Once we got to Clearwater Beach, we went to Big Pier 60 and fished on the pier until about 10:15. Then we went to our hotel. At Big Pier 60, Dad caught 1 stingray, and 1 catfish, and 1 lizard fish, and a bunch of pinfish, grunt, butterfish, and greenback sardines . I caught 1 fish that we don't really know what it was called, and a bunch of pinfish, butterfish and greenback sardines. That's all I remember us caching but I no I probably forgot something. I don't really know about tomorrow yet. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Florida part 4

Today my Dad and I went fishing at Charlotte Harbor. Dad's friend Mr Wilson and Mr Wilson's friend Mr Allen took us out on his boat to fish. I caught all my fish on a live shrimp on a Bommer Jig head, sometimes I had a Bommer Paradise Popper,and sometimes I just worked the shrimp like a jig with no corn. Dad caught his fish all the same way as me. I don't really know what Mr Allen and Mr Wilson used to catch fish. My dad caught 1hard head catfish and 1 ladyfish and 5 speckled trout. I don't know the exact number of fish that Mr Allen caught but I know it was a lot. I don't know the exact number of fish that Mr Wilson caught ether but I think it was around 5 or 6, and included a few snook. I caught 1 jack and 2 hard head catfish and 3 ladyfish and 5 speckled trout. We also saw a bunch of birds and stingrays. The jack that I caught was only about 2 pounds, but it fought so hard I thought it might be like 20 pounds or something. It almost took the rod right out of my hands when it took my bait. Overall today was very productive and fun. We caught a lot of fish and had a lot get off. Tomorrow night we will probably go to Big Pier 60 to fish mostly for speckled trout. Disc Golf and Florida

My Dad and I will be going to Florida on Saturday morning, that should be a lot of fun. I've been playing a lot of disc golf lately, it's been a lot of fun. Sorry for the short blog. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I've been sick

The reason I haven't posted any blogs for the last week or so is because I've been very sick. But I'm feeling better, so here's a blog. Today I went back to work for the first time in a while, it went pretty well and I'm going back to work tomorrow. Today is also the day of my first baseball practice for the season..I'm sooooo excited!!!! Dad and Nathaniel have been in Texas for the last few days fishing. Obviously I don't know everything they have done so far, but based on what they have told me I think it's been a great trip. They get home from Texas today!!

Florida

My dad and I will be going to Florida soon after he gets home from Texas. I'm not sure exactly when we go... but I know it will be fun! That's it for today. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Blog schedule

I'm going to start blogging every other day except on trips I will try to blog every day. Just wanted to say that. Last Wednesday I went to visit my mom's step dad's house for a while. We played tag and pool and ate really good food. That's it for know.

My day

Today I went to little league baseball tryouts. Up didn't have to try out because I'm already on my team from last season. I just wanted to help people with playing in the infield and catching for the people who where trying out. After try outs I went to my friends house to spend the night. I'm righting this blog at my friends house today so it will be up Sunday.

Whatever

The reason I haven't been blogging lately is because the bloger app stoped working on my tablet. But I got the app on my phone, so I will try to get back into blogging. Me and my dad aren't really going on any trips very soon, The next trip we take will be Florida again, I don't really know exactly when we go but I'm extremely excited about going to Florida It should be a tone of fun. I have been playing a lot of disc golf lately, It is just a awesome sport. I'm also so excited about baseball season. I'm really excited about the braves games, I am also really excited about playing little league baseball next season. I have also been working a lot for a baseball coach I used to play for. So I'm glad to make a little money and get good working experience. I've not really been doing anything to crazy lately, it's just been pretty normal. I am also on Instagram now, I'm not just trying to get more followers. But if you want to I do put up a lot of pictures. My Instagram is @ashersamsel.
