Dry Run Creek

Today I got to fish Dry Run Creek, which is a youth-only creek that has an amazing amount of big trout that I LOVE catching. I lost count after a while, but I think I caught somewhere between 40 to 50. All of the fish that I caught where ether brown trout or rainbow trout. I caught most of them on Lindy Watsit Grubs and other lures like that.  I also caught some of them on baits like Rebel Crawfish. Dry Run Creek is one of my favorite places in the world,  and probably my favorite place to fish . And I would highly recommend fishing there if you're under 16. And we also played another disc golf course. And know we are heading home.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Smallmouth bass

I don't know why but I have been calling sunfish and smallmouth bass rainbow trout. So some of those rainbow trout where actually sunfish or smallmouth bass.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Arkansas part 3

Today we fished the White River.  Mr Caleb caught 21 rainbow trout on several different lures.  Dad caught 15 rainbow trout and 1 brown trout. I think dad caught all his fish on a Rebel tracdown Ghost Minnow. Nathaniel and I both caught 19 rainbow trout mostly on Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnows.  So far it's been a fun trip.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Arkansas part 2

Today we fished the Buffalo River and the White River.  Mr Caleb caught about 22 rainbow trout on a bunch of different baits. I don't know how many fish Dad caught, but I think he was mostly using Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnows.  Nathaniel caught 20 rainbow trout on a Rebel Crawfish . And I caught 11 rainbow trout on a Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnow.  So it was a good day of fishing.  After we finished fishing we set up camp by the river and made our food over the fire.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Disc golf

So far on the Arkansas trip we have played 3 disc golf courses, and they have all been really cool.  For those who don't know, disc golf is just like normal golf except instead of golf clubs and golf balls you use aerodynamic Frisbee /discs . It's a lot of fun.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

North Carolina

Recently Nathaniel, Dad and I went fishing at the Nantahala River in North Carolina.  I don't remember the exact number of fish each of us caught, but I do remember that we all caught over 20 fish. We caught them on Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnows, Rebel crawfish , and Lindy Watsit Grubs. I don't remember everything about the day, except it was a great day of fishing. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Oops

I forgot to write about the last fishing day in the Northeast, so here's what I remember . A guy named Capt. Alex took us out on his boat to fish for striped bass.  I think I caught 5 bass , one of the striped bass I caught was the biggest fish I've ever caught. It was about 8 pounds, which isn't big for a striper, but it's my biggest so far. I don't remember how many fish dad caught,  but I think it was something like 7. Most of the fish that we caught where big topwater lures.  It was a lot of fun riding the boat and catching a lot of fish. Looking forward to tomorrow.

The Penobscot river part 2

Today we fished the Penobscot river, with dad's friend Mr Doug. Mr Doug caught 1 sunfish, 1 pickerel, And 6 smallmouth bass. Dad caught 1 pickerel and 25 smallmouth bass! I caught 2  sunfish, 2 pickerel and 19 smallmouth bass! It was really cool having Mr Doug drive us to some of his favorite fishing spots and recommending casts and lures,  and netting all of the fish and unhooking the fish. And just all kinds of stuff like that.  That's why he only caught 8 fish. I would highly recommend going out in the boat with him here's his information.  His name is Doug Teel. more information is on his page which is called Northridge Outfitters . The ponobscot river

Today I went fishing at a youth-only pond called Pickerel pond in Maine.  I didn't catch any fish, but it was really pretty, and we saw 26 frogs, including 4 huge frogs. Then Dad and I went fishing at the Penobscot river. Where Dad caught 3 chain pickerel on Rebel Crawfish.  Dad also caught 5 Smallmouth bass, 4 on Rebel crawfish and 1 on a Rebel Pop-R. I also caught 5 Smallmouth bass , all on a Rebel Crawfish. Then we ate steak that Dads friend Mr. Doug made us. They were really really  good!! Tomorrow Mr Doug will take us out on the Penobscot River for smallmouth bass in his boat. I'm really excited about fishing in his boat for smallmouth, especially on the Penobscot River. Today I also found a really strange dead fish in the water.  I also found about 6 fishing lures in the river. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Smallmouth Bass

Today we fished at the West Branch of the Pleasent River. Dad caught 1 brook trout on a Rebel Crawfish . Then we went to the Penobscot River in Maine, where I caught 3 smallmouth bass, 1 on a Rebel crawfish and the other 2 on a Rebel Pop-R. Dad also caught a smallmouth bass on a Rebel Pop-R.  And a I also caught some frogs.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Maine Woods

Today we went fishing in the deep woods in Maine. We didn't catch any fish, but it was really pretty and scenic. I also caught a lot of frogs. Looking forward to tomorrow.

The Connecticut River

Today Dad and I went fishing at the Connecticut River. I caught 4 brown ,trout,  1 brook trout and 1 rainbow trout, all on a  Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnow . Then we drove to a cabin deep in the Maine wood's, to fish for wild brook trout, but we didn't catch any. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Brook trout

Today Dad and I went fishing at Perry Stream.  Dad caught 1 brook trout on a Rebel Micro Minnow.  Then we went to the Connecticut River, where I caught 2 brown trout on a Rebel Trackdown Ghost Minnow . Dad also caught 1 brown trout on a Rebel Tracdown Ghost Minnow.  Then we went to the East Inlet pond, where dad caught 3 brook trout on a Rebel Crawfish.  Something really weird happened. I can't really explain it, but dad and I caught caught the same fish at the same time.  But I can't explain it in words. We  also saw some cool birds in the water fishing.  Looking forward to tomorrow .

WiFi

Just so you know, the reason I haven't been posting daily is because of bad WiFi.  And the WiFi will probably only get worse.  So it might be a while till I post again.

Otter creek

Today Dad and I went fishing at Otter Creek in Vermont.  Dad caught 3 rainbow trout and 1 brook trout,  all on Rebel Crawfish. I caught 2 little chubs.  I also caught several crawfish and frogs, just for the fun of it. Dad and I ended up getting a lot of good quality pictures.  Something cool and unique to the area is they have covered bridges, and they are really cool. Looking forward to tomorrow.

The Saranac river

Today Dad and I fished the Saranac river in New York.  I caught 1 Chub , and 2 brown trout, , all on Rebel trackdown ghost, minnows . Dad also caught a chub on a Rebel tracdown Coast Minnow. Now where in a hotel in  Vermont.  Dad had to get a fishing license for Vermont, so we went to Dick's Sporting goods,  it was fun rominy around looking at all the sporting stuff that I can't afford. Eposus creek

Today Dad and I got up early and drove from Virginia to New York. Once we got to New York we went fishing at the Eposus creek. We didn't catch any fish, but we did have some action. We just couldn't quite get any.  We also saw a pretty big black bear in the creek. Unfortunately we couldn't get a picture. Now where at a hotel in Albany, New York.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

The Au Sable river

Today Dad and I went fishing on the West Branch of the Au Sable River. I caught 3 brown trout and 1 rainbow trout. All on a Rebel Trackdown Ghost Minnow .  Dad caught a rainbow trout on a Rebel trackdown ghost minnow . It was really pretty where we where fishing.  We were fishing next to a really pretty bluff  it was cool.  Looking forward to tomorrow.

Fishing

A couple of weeks ago Dad and I went fishing at the Chattahoochee River for shoal bass with Rebel Crawfish. We were also fishing in a sit on top 2-person kayak.  I caught 2 shoal bass , 2 sunfish,  1 bream , and 1 striped bass. Dad caught 2 shoal bass . All the fish we caught were caught on a Rebel Crawfish . Looking forward to tomorrow.
